Acceptance of Terms
By using Arabic Calligraphy Generator, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
What This Tool Does
This is a design tool that renders Arabic text using various fonts and styles. It does not:
- Translate text between languages
- Verify spelling or grammatical correctness
- Guarantee cultural or religious appropriateness
- Provide certified or official documents
Your Responsibilities
- Verify accuracy: Always confirm Arabic spelling, meaning, and direction with a native speaker—especially for permanent uses like tattoos.
- Check licensing: Font licenses vary. Review the license for each font before commercial use. See our Font Licenses page.
- Respect culture: Use Arabic text respectfully and avoid appropriating religious or culturally sensitive content.
Disclaimer
This tool is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for:
- Errors in spelling, translation, or meaning
- Consequences of using generated designs (including tattoos)
- Any damages arising from use of this tool
Intellectual Property
The text you enter and designs you create belong to you. Fonts are licensed from their respective creators (primarily via Google Fonts under SIL Open Font License). Our website design and original content are our property.
Acceptable Use
You may use this tool for personal and commercial projects, including logos, prints, tattoos, wall art, and client work, subject to the licence of the individual font you choose. You do not need to credit us, though we appreciate it when people do.
You may not use the service to produce content that is unlawful, that impersonates another person or organisation, that infringes someone else's trademark or copyright, or that is intended to harass or deceive. You also may not scrape, automate, or rate-abuse the site in a way that degrades it for other visitors, or attempt to redistribute the fonts themselves as a download — the fonts are licensed for rendering here and by their own foundry terms, not for resale.
We may restrict access if the service is being abused in a way that threatens its availability, but we do not moderate or review the artwork you create, because we never receive it in the first place.
Advertising
This site is free and is funded by advertising served through Google AdSense. Ads are labelled and kept visually separate from our own content, and we do not accept payment to present advertising as editorial recommendation. What data advertising involves, and how to opt out of personalised ads, is set out in our privacy policy.
Third-Party Links and Services
Our pages link to external resources such as font foundries, Google Fonts, and reference material about Arabic script, and our footer links to other projects we run. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices. Following an external link is at your own discretion.
Availability
We aim to keep the generator online and working, but this is a free service offered without a service-level guarantee. Features may change, fonts may be added or removed as their licences change, and the site may be unavailable during maintenance or because of hosting issues outside our control. Because generation happens entirely in your browser, anything you have already downloaded remains yours regardless of what happens to the site.
Privacy
Calligraphy generation happens entirely in your browser. The text you enter is never transmitted to us, never logged, and never stored, and PNG exports are produced on your device. What we do collect — aggregate usage data, standard server logs, and advertising cookies handled by our advertising partner — is described in full in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from your use of this free service is limited. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including the cost of reproducing, removing, or correcting a design — a tattoo, an engraving, a print run, or a brand identity — that turns out to contain an error. This is why every guide on this site asks you to have Arabic wording confirmed by a native speaker before committing to anything permanent. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms occasionally, and we will revise the "last updated" date above when we do. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Questions about these terms can go to our contact page.
